<br />
<br />
<div>
Snow is expected to develop around midnight through about 3 AM Wednesday
morning. Around 1" is expected in downtown KC with higher amounts north of the
City.</div>
<br />
<div>
The NWS is considering placing KC in a Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow
morning later this afternoon mainly for blowing snow.</div>
<br />
<div>
The predicted ground temperature by 5 PM is still expected to be above 40
and I have doubts it will go below freezing on non elevated areas by the time
snow arrives.</div>
<br />
<div>
It could possibly snow heavy enough to quickly bring the ground temps
down.</div>

They've had technical problems all summer. The problem is I have a guy who loves my weather site and has offered me a free service to transfer my domain to him.. The problem is, 1&1 won't transfer the domain......and in the meantime, they have their top 'tech' working on the problems...Yea right.<br />

Our first measurable snow won't happen until mid December. This weekend still holds a chance.. Between now and then, I a few rounds of freezing rain. After mid December, we go into real winter. <br />

I'll stick with my preciction of 23-28" of snow.<br />
For LRC fans, it's a what comes around goes around theory and I somewhat agree. November has had two major storms the first two weeks and if the LRC is correct, these will cycle back during the winter. Okay....Those storms produced over 4" of rain in 14 days and that would have equaled about 40" of snow..... Even if the quantitive potential was half, that would have been 20" in a 14 day period.... Okay, so those storms, along with the one due tonight, will cycle back here sometime in the next 30 to 60 day [ and that's another rant I'll address later because the LRC seems to make the forecast fit their prediction, instead of the other way around]... That means we should get pretty much a blizard of 20" of snow this winter within a two week period.<div class="blogger-post-footer">KC Long Range Weather</div>GaryB.http://www.blogger.com/profile/12292858134492725852noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3100204880912921776.post-14408455731730055762011-10-30T15:28:00.000-05:002011-10-30T15:28:37.987-05:00HackedMy blog was hacked and I'm starting it over.
